I am thinking about the following criteria: 1. Cost less than $1K. 2. Weight less than 8lbs. 3. At least one 1.44MB 3.6 inchdrive. 4. Bright, good quality display (CGA is OK). 5. Auto-resume. 6. Battery life at least 3 hrs. 7. External CRT monitor port. 8. DOS in ROM if possible. This will be used primarily for word processing, so VGA and a hard disk are not essential. The only laptops I have found to be close are the Sharp MZ-100 and Panasonic (?) but neither have 1.44 MB drives. Is there anything out there that satisfies all (or nearly all) these criteria?
