Message-ID: <904@TALOS.UUCP> Date: 31 Jan 91 18:23:23 GMT Organization: NPRI, Alexandria VA Lines: 15 TScript is a product that claims it can print most PostScript files on a non-PostScript printer, in my case, an HP DeskWriter. The blurb in the catalog says: "it runs on a Mac + or higher... supports type expansion, scaling, rotation, special effects..." What I would like to find out is how complicated is it to use TScript [Basic] with the DeskWriter? If I develop my doc with the LaserWriter selected under Page Setup, is that sufficient? Can I use the HP screen fonts while developing and assume the package will substitute the correct PostScript font, or do I have to do some font juggling? Any drawbacks? Thanks in advance.
