We need/want: + File sharing b/t the Sun & the Macs (We share b/t Sun & PC using PC-NFS, and PC & Macs using TOPS. No luck so far in getting TOPS to "publish" an NFS volume, oh well.) + Printing from the Sun. + "Net access" for the Macs. (e.g. FTP, Telnet, maybe even NFS) Possible Approaches: + Gatorbox + Fastpath + CAP/KIP + EtherNet card in Mac + etc. Suggestions? Who's done this? Who knows how to do this? Tradeoffs? etc... Thanks! -- ==== Mike Schmelzer, UW Genetix, mjs@genetics.wisc.edu, (608)263-7459. ====
