I received many suggestions for bridge products. My main problem was letting Macs on the ethernet talk to a laser-writer. As one person pointed out the best solution would be for Apple to provide a E/net interface on the LW. All our Macs are/will be on ethernet thus a sophisticated bridge is not what we really need as we only need to see the printer. An idea that has been suggested was to use a product like PacerPrint which allows the Macs to use a LaserWriter connected to a VAX. This also provides better print spooling and more security. As an added benefit the Vaxes now have a postscript printer available . Has anybody any thoughts on this solution, or is anybody using PacerPrint? =============================================================================== Conor Nolan Phone: 772941 (X1741) Snr.
