Thanks for the respo[Dnses. It appears to be on the edge of the specs according to the manuals, but it seems to work fine--yes I bought the modem and am currently using it with my LC. My new qestion is this: I understood from the MacUser review article and from some of your messages that the TelePort came bundled with SmartCom II software. Mine didn't. Mine came with a wimpy communications package called FreeTerm (the name says it all). Do I need to call Global Village to ask about this? Was I mistaken or did some of you really get SmartCom II?
