My system is an enhanced Mac 512. The memory is extended to 2 meg. I've only recently enhanced my Mac with a SCSI port, and a 20 meg hard disk. I'm running system 6.0.5, and the problem, which description follows, does not change when a vanilla INIT-less system is used. Normally, everything is just fine. But my Mac crashes when I run programs that use more than 1 meg of memory, or such it seems. When I boot Word 4.0, it crashes with ID=2 just after it draws the menu bar. When I start Think Pascal, it crashes (ID=2) when it tries to update a project. In MultiFinder, I can run programs without problems, until less than 1 meg of memory is free. The problem does NOT occur when the hard disk is off. Any help is appreciated, pooh
