Message-ID: <1991Jan31.174802.14206@ux1.cts.eiu.edu> Date: 31 Jan 91 17:48:02 GMT Organization: Eastern Illinois University Lines: 18 The new Apple Education Price List doesn't have the old 1bit Monochrome video card listed. Calling customer service at Apple confirmed this. Does this mean that Apple is not-so- subtly trying to force everybody into color? As I see it, the least-expensive way (even at educational discount) prices) to get a monochrome monitor and card from Apple is $209.30 for the monitor, and a whopping $453.60 for the 4*8 card. Anybody know of alternatives? Thanks, __ John Miller Music Theory Eastern Illinois University CFEJM@UX1.CTS.EIU.EDU
