I have had a Sony Trinitron on my workstation for over a year now and I had never seen any lines. Today I looked very carefully and I saw one. I played with different window colors and background colors to see if I had accidentally picked colors that conceal for my windows. I found that if you select windows that are dark shades of green, the line ``disappears'' and colors closer to blue heighten the line. I had found out a while ago that dark green colors were easier on my eyes so that is what I have been using and thus I couldn't see the line until I looked real close. I still can't see it if I have a DarkGreen (X11R4) window. -- Kevin Kuehl krk@cs.purdue.edu kuehlkr@mentor.cc.purude.edu
