Thanks! ------------------------------------------------- We are planning a psychology experiment using sound files and are interested in finding out some details about Farallon's SoundEdit for the Macintosh. 1) We need to initiate playing of a sound resource inside a Pascal program, then time the delay until the subject responds by pressing a button. Are there any known problems with this sort of timing, e.g., delay between sending the command and the actual start of the sound? 2) Is there a simple way to play 2 sound files simultaneously? Presumably one file could play on the L channel and one on the R, but we don't know how to do this. Might it be easier to just mix the sounds together? 3) Any further references to good material about using sound would be appreciated, as well as any willingness on your part concerning future consulting on this project.
