Lines: 11 I remember reading how to lock the Chooser name in a discussion a long time ago. Of course, I never saved the information, and now need it :-) I did find the string resource in the System file that contains the user name, and locked that resource. I also went into the Chooser DA itself and attempted to make the name field a static text item. The user can still, however, type and change the name. Since the string resource is locked, though, the name they enter never gets saved to disk. Still, I don't want them to be able to change the name at all. Is there a way to do this? Robert
