In fact, enough messages are generated to disable logins (I guess because the system is busy handling them). I can stop the messages by un-exporting the file systems; they start up again when I export. Sometimes, however, the machine decides to let me export things for a while if I have waited several hours. Has anyone seen anything like this before? I have reloaded/upgraded OS, done a mkfs on the file systems and nothing seems to help. System Info: 4D/220GTX, IRIX 3.3.2 (was 3.2), disks are 1.2 GB SMD. Steve Scherr U.S.A.F.
