Last month, someone other there was kind enough to send me a Symbolics
"patch" which will allow Symbolics LISP machines to parse TI pathnames
and so to access TI files. It was said to have originally come from TI
Customer service.

I have found one omission in that patch which prevents one from having a
Symbolics LISPM-INIT file on a TI. It may be the result of some method
having changed in Genera 8.0. If anyone cares, let me know and I will
send the whole patch (with improvement) or just the improvement with
instructions where it goes. If there is sufficient interest, I will post
the latter here.

And if anyone else out there has found other problems with that patch,
please let me know before I find them the hard way.
