I've come upon this problem when using a MainWindow Widget.
I load the MainWindow with a widget for the work area, the menu bar and
the command window (I let the scrollbars take care of themselves).
The command window appears in the work area - The real work area is resized
and positioned correctly but its content is displayed in the wrong place.

Has anyone come across this problem?  Does anyone have a simple work around?
Is it (yawn) fixed in 1.1?
