If the leftmost push button is designated the default button, it's monochrome appearance lacks the bottom and right side of the default shadow - the top and left side of the shadow show fine. In color the appearance looks okay. We do set the defaultShadow Thickness to 2. The Motif is 1.1 and the pushbbuttons are on the bottom of the bulletin board.
