Lines: 28 I sent a message on this topic about two weeks ago, but i have reason to believe it never attained wide distribution, if i'm wrong, please excuse the wasteage of bandwidth. I learned not too long ago that i and my company have missed the 1.0.X update window. OSF was kind enough to send us the 1.1 tape however. Unfortunately, for various reasons (schedules and reduced resources) i would much prefer to update to 1.0.3 (or better). Also, i do not have it in my power to update X11 to R4. Before i really attempt such a thing, i have a number of questions: 1. How much work is updating to 1.0.3+? Hours? Days? Weeks? Months? Don't worry about intangibles. An estimate with 2X error is fine. 2. What is 1.0.3? An entire source tape? A series of source patches? If a bunch of patches, how many are there? 3. IF 1.0.3 is only a series of patches, anyone out there willing to send them to me? Many thanks in advance. --aj madison -- when everyone is out to get you, being paranoid is just good thinking. - Dr. Johnny Fever A.J.
