   Hi Julie, he is in public school in what they call middle school and 
what I call junior high. This school system is a joke. They even have 
pop machines all over the place. He was very excited a few weeks ago and 
wanted to go to his first school dance. I tried to explain what school 
dances were like but I knew still in his head he was thinking more like 
Christmas or birthday party. He expected to have music, dancing, games, 
prizes and food. Well he quickly found out that all they do is divide up 
for the most part by sex and stare at each other. When we had these 
little events the school would at least have puch and cookies. At his 
dance they charged the kids $3 and gave them a box of pop corn. After 
the kids ate that and were thirsty they had to go to the pop machines 
just to get something to drink. Nice planning on the schools part. We 
have been fighting with the school board out here forever. Their policy 
is to just wear everyone down.
