Bob is a super person. He operates Access Systems of Baltimore, is the author of a very handy book on access on the East Coast. He is well informed on adaptive equipment for the disabled and crawled up the back steps at the Capitol during the ADA demonstrations. I could only get to the last platform and two more of the 84 steps and 6 platforms. Hope to heck you reccomended against that "alligator" wheelchair. They wanted to use one with me last year. I wish the companies would keep up with the needs. I have been looking for a wheelchair that will allow me to change position from a full recline to a full stand, and handle a 300 lbs. operator. Then to I would like a higher rate of speed for use on a roadway (10-15 mph), hydraulic motors or an alternative fuel/batteries combination. But then the hydraulic motors are not well known. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!130!10!Walter.Hart Internet: Walter.Hart@f10.n130.z1.fidonet.org
