Because it calls for boiling before baking, it made me think of bagels which, I believe, use the same technique. No one has, to my knowledge, ever posted bagel recipes. The difference between great and okay bagels is night and day so I am willing to put in the effort. I promise to try and report results. Why, btw, do you boil them (and pretzels)? Also, I hope to get advice on how to make variations like onion, garlic, pumpernickel, poppy and raisin.
