In comparing the F-14 to the F-15 to the F-16 etc, many people are unaware that
when discussing long/medium range missile combat, the radar currently on board
the aircraft is frequently the dediding factor.  Some F-14 still have what we
call the APG-65, while the F-18 and versions of the F-15 have been fitted with
the most recent packages.
