The French forces in the gulf are a regiment of dragoon(amx30) 
B regiment of Hussar(amx10rc), a regiment of Spahis, at least
   
a regiment of the foreign legion, also present are the infantery de Marine
the artillerie is a regiment of RAMA (regiment d'artillerie de marine)
and of course the logistic. This is what i am sure of.
