Leading elements of the British 7th Armored division reach Msus and proceed
onward to Antelat.  The Italian forces in Cyrenaica are in full flight
and offer little resistance here or along the Mediterranean coast.

Changes of cabinet officials in Yugoslavia and Bulgaria are interpreted
as moves toward better relations with Britain.  In Yugoslavia, the
pro-British Milan Constantinovitch is named Minister of Justice, while
Bulgarian Agricultural Minister Bagrianoff, who favors Axis ties, resigns.

Cuban President Fulgencio Batista forces his military chiefs of staff to
resign and assumes personal control over Cuban armed forces, claiming that
the military has gained too much control over the civilian government.
