Hello... I'm seriously considering and looking forward to joining either the
National Guard or the regular Army in order to go to Flight School to fly
helicopters (preferably Apache's!).  Could anyone possibly provide me with some
insight as to what Flight school is like?  What's the game plan?  What
designates what kind of chopper I eventually fly?  Would it benefit me to get a
regular civilians pilots license before going to flight school?

For those familiar with National Guard, how realistic is it to go through
flight school from the NG?

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated...
