        I have a TIFF file created from an HP scanjet, using ScanGallery
software.  Does anyone out there have a program to convert TIFF (v5.0)
to gif, or pgm?  The program tifftopgm from the pbmplus tar does not
work.  It gives errors relating to unknown commands relating to shading,
etc.  I couldn't find it one on cica or uwasa.  I would be very appreciative
if someone could point me to a file on an ftp site somewhere.  I don't
mind if it runs under X11 or msdos or windows 3.0... I am desperate to
make the conversion!
