Lines: 16 Hi folks, it seems I have a bit of a problem. I have a SONY 3860 and recently upgraded to Version 4.0 of the o/s only to have the machine crash every 12 hours with vmunix: mbuf map full. I spoke to the local support people and they hassled Japan and found there is a major bug for both RISC and CISC versions of 4.0, it seems the memory leak is caused by non-ip packets on the network. The fix is in 4.01, but that won't be available for a couple of months and I heard the people in the US and Europe are making noise about this bug, so does anyoue out there have a fix? If so please mail me! I would fix it myself if I had the source, but I don't have that yet because the administration at SUN are so SLOOOOOOOW! All I want is them to sign my NFS source license and send me a copy! This has taken months so far and it's still a fair way off.....IF SUN WERE ANY SLOWER THEY WOULD GO BACKWARDS! At least they finally learnt how to return phone calls! Well that's my gripe. Greg
