As I upgrade an S'87 version to 5.0, I am banging my head with an indexing
routine.  I create an index and then verify via S'87 DBU that opening the
file with the index causes no records to be viewable.  Letting DBU merely
create the existing index (no change to expr), and all is OK.

Any know bugs or problems?  I was hoping to add a +ip_disp() function
to the expression to show index progress (which I got working for S'87)
but would be quite happy with a humble index.
