Does anyone have a experience with digicom modems (particularly
the v32bis/fax modem).  Somewhere I heard they use a DSP chip, not Rockwell.  

Is it likely that if one were to buy a modem which used DSP, but did
not have v32bis now, it could later be upgraded with only a ROM swap?
