There were not many votes, but the majority have voted in favor of disconnecting the gateway. So I think the gateway should be disconnected forthwith. We will continue to use the GNU mailing lists and newsgroups for their existing purposes. That some people who don't support the GNU project disapprove of these purposes is not a reason to change them; it more likely indicates we're doing the right thing.
