Lines: 16 I'll try again since only part of my first request for information was answered. Thanks to those who answered the part about where I might find a more readable introduction to Modula-3. A related question is "can i learn anything that would be helpful in mod-3 when learning mod-2?" i found a free mod-2 compiler for all the machines i now work with and their are several books about the language. back to the main question: can someone give a rundown of what machines modula-3 currently runs on? in particular i am interested in the DEC VAX VMS system - i noted that the DEC/Modula-2/m2.vax.tar.Z on gatekeeper contains some VMS support, does the Modula-3 system as well? - and in the Apple Macintosh SE (no 68030/68882 required.) maybe if someone is even WORKING on these they could drop a note. jeff
