I just got eval 'sub IOC_OUT {0x40000000;}'; and friends translated with an (\'int\') cast, which makes them all zero. I deleted all three casts, and I am now master of devices once again. Inside sizeof is the only place I can see any use for casts. Actually, I'm pretty amazed at your translations.
