I have only seen the transformation described from a few sites >(e.g. rutgers ...) You can add samsung to that list. All mail I've ever gotten via has been munged at samsung. And don't forget Apple.COM and USF.EDU (University of South Florida). >If you're having problems with some site(s), why not send mail to the >postmaster(s) asking that he/they revise their software (which might or >might not be sendmail)? Unfortunately, hasn't answered my mail; and I can never tell who is this week. I don't consider Sendmail evil. I do consider its author to be at least somewhat short-sighted in his making header munging so easy. The header rewriting rules in sendmail.cf are the closest thing I've seen to an E-Mail "attractive nuisance." -- Chip Salzenberg at Teltronics/TCT , "If Usenet exists, then what is its mailing address?" -- me "c/o The Daily Planet, Metropolis." -- Jeff Daiell
