Hi, can anybody tell me what causes the following messages to be mailed 
to the UUCP admin account.

We are running on a 386 with Bell Tech SYS V 3.2. we are using Telebit trailblazers and Computone serial cards.

Most of the time our connections work fine but we are prone to the following 
error during long transfers (many files):

news xxx  (2/5-2:39:44,20122,7) IN SEND/SLAVE MODE (INPUT FAILURE)
WHERE xxx=machine name

Are the above two problems releatd ?
