Is it supposed to be informative, or a culture? We're talking about a comp. heirarchy group here. Last time such issues were discussed, the subheirarchy comp.society was created. Is it perhaps time, based on experience, to relocate this newsgroup? > Making people out to be fools? There have been some important misstatements made by Patrick based on hearsay. They ended up smearing further someone with legal problems. That's not easy to overlook. The real problem is that personal conclusions seem to be of the National Enquirer genre. They're sensationalistic in nature. The folks I talk with agree that Patrick has done a wonderful job of running the newsgroup. They agree, to a man, that the newsgroup/digest would be better served with far less commentary by Patrick. None of them has volunteered to take over, let alone sub for a day. Bill Vajk
