Subject: Switched SDLC Connection with IBM Communication Manager

On behalf of another department at our university, I would like to ask
if anybody has any experience with the following configuration:
- IBM PS/2 with Multiprotocol Adapter /A
- IBM OS/2 Extended Edition 1.2 - Communication Manager SNA Gateway
- Switched line communication to host (SDLC dial-in)
They would like to have contact with anybody able to answer the
following questions: Does the dial sequence needs to be performed
manually ? What changes in configuration are necessary in comparison
with leased line SDLC connectivity ?  Does anybody was able to have
contact through the DOS PC/3270 gateway in switched SDLC mode ?
Please forward any clues to me, so I can pass them on to the LIBIS
department (central library of our university).  Thanks for any help.
