CS Dept, Ithaca NY Lines: 12 Approved: parallel@hubcap.clemson.edu I am interested in solution of the real symmetric eigenvalue problem (dense, full case) on message passing parallel machines (such as the Intel hypercube), for one of my applications. I need to calculate either all eigenvalues and eigenvectors or only the highest few eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors. Whatever few papers I have, tell very little about this problem. Could some kind netters direct me to the right references. thanks. shirish.
