Keywords: cap,uab Message-ID: <1991Feb8.215028.11598@DMI.USherb.CA> Date: 8 Feb 91 21:50:28 GMT Sender: Marc Mazuhelli Organization: Universite de Sherbrooke, Quebec Lines: 22 Nntp-Posting-Host: terre I am about to install CAP on our Sun server. I have downloaded cap2, enet and uab+ and read the REAME files, but I'm still not shure if I need uab. We have a GatorBox and a few macs with Ethernet cards, but most our Macs are still on LocalTalk. If I understand well, enet lets the Sun talk EtherTalk phase 1 directly, so it could be useful for the Macs that have Ethernet cards. But what exactly does uab do and do I need it? Another question: the README file for enet states that it "should work" with SunOS 4.1; does anyone know if does indeed work with 4.1 or 4.1.1? These seem like simple questions that might meed complicates answers... I hope someone can help me!! Thank you very much!! -- { Marc Mazuhelli | professeur } { internet: mazu@dmi.USherb.CA | Departement de math-info. } { | Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada }
