Message-ID: <4732@goanna.cs.rmit.oz.au> Date: 8 Feb 91 08:48:09 GMT Organization: Comp Sci, RMIT, Melbourne, Australia Lines: 20 G'day, We are looking for some PC software to network 3-9 PCs to an HP-9000 Series 350 running pcnfsd. I've looked at Sun's PC-NFS, and FTP's PC-TCP. So far, things are leaning Sun's way, especially if their release Real Soon Now (supposedly March) fixes the problems with Windows. Basically, is there anywhere else I should look before buying? The facilities needed are: Mounting of HP's drives as MS-DOS drives Remote login over Ethernet Remote printing Compatibility with Windows 3.00 Low memory usage Any suggestions would be appreciated.
