By the way, an internal CD-ROM drive costs about $550, while the Tahiti rewritable optical drive weighs in at a price of ten internal CD-ROMs at only $5500. A neat piece of technology, but hardly economical for a machine like the Amiga. (Think about a Unix-bundled A3000 with this drive.....about $10000 for a system!)
