	LARN runs perfectly under 1.3.  There must be a problem with your
setup.  I have played (and won) the game at least 15 times under 1.3.

	Perhaps you are missing some important files, or you didn't set
something up, or another program you have is interfering with it, or the
disk is corrupt, or....
