The computer is a 16 MHz A3000. Question 1: I have seen all the discussions concerning disabling re-selection when using the A2091 on an A2000. Does this also apply to the A3000 or has the software on the A3000 been fixed to solve this problem? I will receive my A3000/16-50 in 2 days and I plan on installing a Conner 200 meg drive and a Syquest drive on the computer (the Syquest will be external). Do I have do disable re-selection? Question 2: I know that the A3000 uses SCRAM for fast memory but can you also use normal page mode dram (ZIPs 256K X 4)? You see, I got 32 of these at a price that was unbeatable. Also, they are 100ns instead of the specified 80ns. So, can I use 256K x 4 ZIP page mode DRAM (100ns) in an A3000/16 computer? Thanks for any information. -- |******************************|*****************|********************| | Daniel A.
