I am selling my A1000 to a friend.  He plans to get a hard drive in
the future.  Here are some questions:

Q1: How hard/expensive will it be to get a hard drive for the A1000
    in the (near) future?

Q2: How easy/dangerous is it to hook up A500 hardware to the A100?

Q3: How long will it be until much of the software that is written does
    not run on the A1000?

Q4: How expensive are the 3rd party upgrade boards?

If someone could answer one or all of these questions, I'd be
eternally grateful.
