High Density disks are addressed 4 higher than the standard device number, for example my AE drive (which is DF1:) works as DF5: for high density disks. Of course, only one of these devices will work at a time, depending on what type of disk you have in the drive. BAD cut and paster - Hate working on Macs. Anyway, Has anyone tried using AssignDevice: or a similar programme that patches the system and forces it to see df5: as, say df2:? Jim
