i caught up with many requests.  sorry for the delays.
will keep on keeping on.

for a while, someone at umix aliased apollo-request -> /dev/null and i
didn't know about it.

i am going to move the list from umix (where i used to work) to engin
(where i am now) and that will help out quite a bit.

if someone would like to volunteer for a stint at doing the list, let
me know.  i'll tell you what it involves and we can try and work
something out.  maybe someone can just help deal with the
apollo-request alias.

i do not recommend doing this mailing list on an apollo, however.
