I put a boot on the hard disk, and everything looks When I looked into this on PC=Ditto I, it turns out that its boot program was checking both C: and d: for a Ms/dos signature. If either failed it would not boot. Since little there changed in PC_D II, I suspect its the same. The fix then is to use pcdfix on both c: and d: . This in no way changes d: if its a TOS partition.
