The machine runs its ram refresh pretty slow by today's standars. I have seen Drams rated at 300ns used in the C64 logic boards. 200ns to 150ns is typical. As for your analog paddel port, I have worked with it myself once, and I dont have the spces, but its easy to access it via the sid chip. ctfm
