I have found locally one such program locally (dosread, doswrite) but it is very "unsatisfactory" since after one write it fails to read or write the diskette and generates a "directory read error" as well as a "sd2:HARD ERROR: compare error". The floppy diskette was originally formatted on a NeXT using BuildDOS. I tried to read it on a VaxStation 3100. If there are PD programs to read DOS disks, please let me know! I do not read this newsgroup frequently, so could you please email me any suggestions.
