This is called COMA mode and is documented in Jim Donneley's handbook. I do not know if it is in the regular manual or not. It it used, if you plan on turning off your calculator and leaving it off for a LONG time and don't want to eat the batteries. Put it in COMA mode and it shuts down the system clock entirely leaving nothing running. No alarms will go off and there will be no activity at all. Very useful little feature. ian -=Runaway Daemon=-
