HP has a product call Network Services/1000 which includes FTP, TELNET,
PING and routing/gateway support.  The software also is upward compatable	with the old DS services in case you have old machines.  Basically all you
need is an ethernet card (HP calls then LANIC) and the software.  We have
it running at various locations here connected to vaxes, suns etc.
