Message-ID: <91036.233743JXS118@psuvm.psu.edu> Date: 6 Feb 91 04:37:43 GMT Organization: Penn State University Lines: 14 I have an Epson FX-80 printer which I aquired minus the manual (naturally) Someone a while back was kind enough to send me the dip-switch table for the printer, but I still can not get it to print any foreign characters (characters in the 128-255 range) I have dip switches 1-6, 1-7, 1-8 on as indicated for the foreign character set. I know the FX-80 does not produce the same character set that is on an IBM PC in the range 128-255, but I would think that it would have SOME foreign characters. My roommate needs to print a paper in Spanish... I checked the printer cable to make sure the MSB of the data was getting to printer. Any help would be appreciated.
