Summary: Need info on PC board that emulates an Apple Keywords: Apple, emulation, pc card Message-ID: <1991Feb8.055543.19582@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu> Date: 8 Feb 91 05:55:43 GMT Sender: news@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (News) Organization: University of Illinois at Urbana Lines: 18 I have an Amiga 2000 computer w/ which I run MS-DOS w/ my XT bridgeboard (pretty much an IBM on a card so I can run MS-DOS and Amiga dos simultaneously). The thing is, before I moved to an Amiga, I had an Apple // for 5 years and still have tons of software left (though I have long since sold the computer). I have heard that there is a card available for MS-DOS computers that is essentially an Apple on a card (it's called Trackstar or Trackdisk or something like that). I have looked through Computer Shopper and Byte and I can't find a singles place that sells it. Two questions, is it still available (is the company still in business) and secondly, who sells them? thanks for any info, Jason jhc00614@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu btw, no flames please, I have the greatest respect for all computer platforms. To each his own.
