(Cards and not built into the motherboard). They only support two floppy drives and 2 hard drives. I understand that somewhere there exists IDE controllers that support more than 2 floppies. Ideally I would like to have 4 floppies and 2 drives. (Sounds crazy, but we need to support all the different formats). Since you can't reliably format and write to low density floppies from high density drives, this is what creates the dilmena. Is there any easy answer, other than having several machines?
